I normally would say to fill the frame ..which you have done. But in this case, maybe if you had pulled back a little further, it may have given some reference to what it is. So...what is it? ;)

My friend do not dream for EB3 approval until EB-2 get current. I lost my hope for GC just use EAD.

Guys,
I switched my job in first week of October this year and My new employer filed the H1B transfer petition on Sep 26 (USCIS Receipt date). It has been almost two months and USCIS online status still shows case received and pending, while California State Center processing dates shown Oct 15 which is 20 days after Sep 26.
Is there anyone who has expereineced the same and want to share?
I am bit concerned because my employer has started the GC process and will be ready to submit the PERM application in few weeks.

Kudos to Senator Chuck Schumer for raising the profile of a serious issue - discrimination against same-sex partners in US immigration law. Even as several states are enacting marriage equality laws and anti-discrimination laws are moving forward around the US (including here in my home town of Memphis), the antiquated Defense of Marriage Act prevents USCIS from treating these families fairly. The UAFA would be a huge step forward. The Senate will have its first hearing on the bill tomorrow. One of my friend is in the same situation and he has been told by his lawyer that he can get his part-time concurrent H1 Extn for 3 years based on fulltime concurrent H1 approved I-140.
He is going to apply the same soon.

My EAD expired in late April
Prior to that, I applied for renewal but my old lawyer forgot to either include something with the application or made a typo, and it bounced back a few days ago (late May).
I got a new laywer to re-file the EAD, however I will not get my new one in time to start my post-college job in early July, as the process takes around 90 days from what I remember.
If I show up to the first day with a filing receipt, a written letter from the new lawyer explaining what happened, and my old EAD, will I not get the job?
How do employers handle something like this?
