Here is a clear example of business leaders moving ahead of the politics of this issue. It will have an impact on any sensible person.
It should get onto as many news wires as possible. Which sensible person can say that those 1000 high paying jobs going to Vancouver/Canada is in the interest of Seattle/USA. Imagine to spin off losses of this, to housing, to retail, to all sorts of areas of the economy where many Americans make their livelihoods.
This is what people don't understand, push them too far and capitalists will weaken the US economy.

One of the biggest gripe, that legal retrogressed immigrants have about the immigration system here, is that the current retrogression locks them up in one position far too long for them to grow in career. Either your company was not advised properly by your attorney or you were not aware of this simple rule that you need to work in the same job category (with as many employers as you wish subject AC21) until about six month passes after you get your green card. Otherwise you could run into trouble at some point.

Hello,
I am one of those cases where no one can get my name right. This time my visa stamp has an FNU against my first name.
I have a valid SSN, valid California DL and a valid California marriage certificate. The I-797 is not a blanket petition. It has my name as I wish it to be. I used my I-797 to get my DL couple of years back.
The question is, will the FNU create any problems at the port of entry? Will it create problems when I renew my H1-B later this year?
How would I enter my name on the I-94? As on the petition or as on the visa?
