I'm pretty happy with my OWC. Has sleep issues, but apparently its been fixed, just haven't had time to update the firmware.

I've sold my macbook and had a 128gb ssd in it that I pulled. I'm hoping to get a thunderbolt enclosure and using it as an external boot drive. with thunderbolt it shouldnt hold it back at all I dont think.

I also have a 2007 MBP which had 2 upgrades from Tiger.
When I upgraded to an SSD, I saw that my Library folder was around 12gb in size and was not getting the full benefits of SSD which had been advertised. 2gb were for email database but I had no idea of other 10gb...
The best I found was to re-install and start afresh with new installs and just the apps I needed.
I used an application which copied folder names into a text file. I formatted the computer and picked and chose the applications I wanted to reinstall.
Used TimeMachine to copy My Documents folder back and done.
Just keep in mind I used Firefox sync which copied my bookmarks, history etc. (although Add-Ons had to be reinstalled).
Couldn't have been happier to just format it rather than messing around.
I also find this is the best way. I had to format my MacBook Pro yesterday because it wasn't shutting down properly (afterwards, I found out it was just one program causing the problem :mad:). Although it probably wasn't entirely necessary, my computer is now running better than when I bought it new around 12 months ago.

Yea I heard Charlotte Target only had 5 too and yea I got the 32gb white like I wanted. They came out and passed out tickets at 4:30 but there were still a lot of people waiting in line without a ticket. I'm sure there were a lot of angry people. The line was wrapped around the building I'm glad I came when I did because it started to pick up around 3:30. But Launch day is over not so I'm hoping cases start coming out on Amazin because I refused to buy one in the store.

OMG what is hard to understand? Either a new book bag or a case. I don't want another freaking messenger bag. I already have that (as I stated in the first post and re-iterated in my first reply).
Seriously people, I appreciate the help but read before you rush to hit the reply button. Even if you completely ignore my repeated comments that I don't want another messenger bag (either a BOOK bag or CASE), you're suggesting a bag for the 11" MBA when I said in the title I have a 13". Why not just tell me what kind of car you drive instead, it's about an equally worthless piece of information (in regards to this thread).

I'd probably just do the base 13", if you're getting an i7 iMac.
You talking about the 2.3 GHz i5 for $1199, wow I didn't even think of that option. Now I gotta look up the benchmarks for that model :P

I is possible that your backlight may be failing.
And LCD's backlight will fail eventually, but that takes years and years. If yours is failing now, I hope you have AppleCare or something.

This is one of the best run and gun camera stabilizers that doesn't require you to balance and take a lot of time to learn how to use it... I even use it from time to time with my hvx 2000. just tried and it didn't work. ipad keeps saying cellular data needs to be activated.
